Premiere Yachts co-owners, Martin Snyder and Kristen Juan-Snyder
Martin Snyder
Co-owner and Boat Broker
With boat-building experience that sets him apart from most brokers, Martin offers a rare depth of knowledge in the business. His career began in 1985 at the Wellcraft & Reinell boat dealership in Portland, Oregon. He went on to work at Seaward Yacht Sales for 18 years, where he represented heritage favorites like Grand Banks, Kadey-Krogen, Nordhavn, and CHBB/Ponderosa, as well as modern names like Silverton and Mainship Yachts. Later, at Compass Point/Crow’s Nest Yachts, he sold Tiara, Cheoy Lee, Compass Yachts, and Viking Yachts. In 2004 Martin became a sales manager at Adventure Yachts, the Pacific Northwest dealer for Hampton, Legend, Pama, Regency, and Symbol yachts. In 2008 he cofounded Hampton Yacht Group with four partners, serving as a working partner for six years.

In 2014, Martin and a business partner opened the sales office for Premiere Yachts. Together they revitalized the Regency Motor Yachts line, upgrading its signature style with modern materials and design. His wife, Kristen Juan-Snyder, joined Premiere Yachts as co-owner and business manager in 2017. Premiere Yachts offers a wide range of pre-owned yachts and is the global importer for Regency Motor Yachts.
Whether vetting a potential purchase or fine-tuning a yacht before it hits the market, Martin is committed to his clients every step of the way. His dedication extends beyond the transaction—he stays available for troubleshooting and maintenance advice, and is especially valued for his mechanical expertise and talent for designing vessel interiors.
Kristen Juan-Snyder
Co-owner and Business Manager
Kristen grew up on Whidbey Island and spent 20 years as a banker who helped a local bank launch its Marine lending department. She later worked at Nordstrom in administration and accounts payable before joining husband Martin Snyder at Premiere Yachts in 2014.
In 2018, Kristen helped transition the business from retail to wholesale when Premiere Yachts partnered with a dealer to sell Regency Yachts nationwide. In 2023, she joined a Seattle-based fintech that serves banks in high-risk industries, where she continues to work with the marketing department.
In 2022, Kristen and Martin moved to Anacortes to be closer to family. Fast forward three years and they decided it was time to work for themselves again, opening their own sales office in the heart of Anacortes.
Bill King
Boat Broker
Bill has spent most of his life around boats. He got into yachting in 1982 and by 1988 had left a successful role as a VP of marketing to pursue powerboat sales. In 1992, he founded Compass Point Yachts Inc. in Seattle, WA, which expanded to Newport Beach, CA, in 2015.
Over the years, Compass Point Yachts represented some of the biggest names in yachting, including: Ocean Alexander, Tiara, Viking, Hatteras, Grand Banks, Luhr’s, Mainship, Viking Sport Cruisers, Regency, Cheoy Lee, and even its own brand, Compass Yachts. Compass Point Yachts eventually became Maritimo Yacht Sales Seattle, where Bill became the top Maritimo seller in the Americas.
Steve Neidhardt
Boat Broker
A lifelong boater and former broker at Seattle Yachts, Steve became the owner of the Seattle Sailing Club in 2022 where he serves as a sailing educator, racer, and ambassador. Steve is a seasoned captain and has a 50-Ton C.G. Masters License and American Sailing Association (ASA) certification.
His passion for boating was sparked by childhood adventures on Chesapeake Bay which led to competing in sailing championships at the national level. In his role as broker, Steve draws on his vast boating expertise and hands-on experience to connect buyers with their ideal vessels. His painstaking care at every step ensures a positive, seamless process and a yacht to perfectly fit each client’s unique boating lifestyle.
